Olga’s Organics is an all-natural beauty brand (first USDA Certified Organic makeup company) based in the US. All products are organic, Non-GMO, Paraben free, Petrolatum Free, BHA free, Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS) free, Vegan, and most importantly, never tested on animals.
A month ago, Olga Reding, the beautiful founder of Olga’s Organics, sent her products to me in exchange of my honest reviews. The thing that really excites and impresses me about Olga’s products are: first off, the products are totally clean and non-toxic; secondly, as you explore each product, you can see that a lot of thought and extensive research has gone into the selection of ingredients; and thirdly, the packaging is really cute with lot of perky phrases and floral-designed boxes. It truly makes you feel special and elevates the self-care experience.
WHIPPED BODY BUTTER – GRAPEFRUIT LAVENDER
Olga’s Organics organic whipped body butter comes in five different fragrances – Orange Dream, Grapefruit Lavender, Fresh Mint, Lavender, Rosemary, and Original – unscented. I chose the lavender grapefruit because lavender is my favorite fragrance in body care products and its combination with grapefruit sounded intriguing.
Unlike regular lotion that can contain up to 90% water, Olga’s body butter do not contain any water at all, so a little butter goes a long way. The butters are versatile; they can be used all over the body, on the face, on the hair as a mask, as a shaving cream, to heal sunburns, and to treat eczema and dermatitis. Now that’s a WOW!
My experience – Sadly, I couldn’t experience the whipped texture of the body butter because it had suffered during the transit. Nonetheless, this body butter is amazing! It has a very thick consistency and only little is really required. I’m really enjoying it in this winter-y climate; it’s so effective on my dry skin. But I’m afraid it will feel a tad heavy during the hot and humid months.
In terms of fragrance, I pick up notes of coconut oil along with lavender and grapefruit. It smells nice and doesn’t linger for long. What I really like about the body butter is the non-exhaustive list of ingredients that even a layman can read and comprehend.

ORGANIC BODY SCRUB – FRESH MINT
Akin to their body butters, Olga’s Organics offers choices of body butters (Orange Dream, Chai, Fresh Mint, Rosemary & Lavender). Although I was initially tempted to go for Lavender, I decided to explore a different fragrance this time and selected the Fresh Mint body scrub.
Olga’s body scrubs are deeply healing and rejuvenating. They are rich in antioxidants that combat inflammation and soothe irritated skin. Regular exfoliation protects the body against toxins, while balancing natural oils and fighting acne.
My experience – As I had expected, the Fresh Mint body scrub smells amazingly fresh and citrusy. It’s pretty invigorating and revitalizing.
On the one hand where the whipped body butter texture had melted during the transit; on the other hand, the body scrub was rock solid. It was so hard in fact that I had to literally struggle to mix the solidified oil on the top and the sugar granules set underneath the jar. But once I was done with it, I really enjoyed the body scrub.
The sugar granules are not at all harsh to the skin (they do fall while scrubbing a little; but it’s quite natural with all body scrubs) and exfoliate the skin effectively. My skin feels so soft and moisturized after my shower that I do not need to follow it up with any body butter, cream or body oil.
Again I really like the simple set of ingredients used in the body scrub.

An important thing worth noticing and commending about the ingredients used in Olga’s products is that each selected ingredient helps in addressing various health concerns. For example, peppermint essential oil can help with arthritis, digestive difficulties, colic, headaches, heartburn and indigestion; and Grapefruit essential oil can help with cellulite, depression, digestion, fatigue, jet lag, liver problems, migraines and stress. Whereas Shea Butter stimulates the production of collagen that prevents premature wrinkles and facial lines; and coconut oil is a great skin moisturizer and a natural sun screen.
ORGANIC AND MINERAL LOOSE EYESHADOWS
Out of their 8 pretty shades of mineral loose eyeshadows, I chose Adora (frosted light peach with golden undertones and multicolored shimmer) and Uma (medium copper/rust with a frosted sheen and mixed metal shimmer).
My experience: Both eyeshadows are really pretty, wearable, and contain tiny shimmery particles. They are blended perfectly, very fine, and are so lightweight.
Adora and Uma are totally contrasting shades. Adora is very light, subtle, and an everyday shade; while Uma, in my opinion, is perfect for evening outings, dates, and parties. The texture of both eyeshadows are very fine, not gritty at all, and I love the color pay-off. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that the gold shimmers spread near the eye areas.
Application wise, it’s very easy to blend the eyeshadows with the Olga’s Vegan eye brush (or your fingers); and one can easily go from a sheer color to a deeper tone, depending on the occasion and the preference. Usually, I prefer pressed eyeshadows for the sake of convenience; but of late, I have been loving these loose eyeshadows quite a lot. Its packaging is travel-friendly and looks so cute in the handbag.

ORGANIC AND MINERAL LIP TINTS
Olga’s organic and mineral lip tints are available in 6 different shades – Iris, Nydia, Sedona, Rose, Rylea, and Willow. The lip tints are 77.3% Organic, with extra nutritious ingredients like Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil and Candellila Wax.
I chose two shades: Rose – medium-deep, brick red with earthy brown undertones, and; Rylea – medium, sheer copper with gold shimmer particles.
My experience: The lip tints are a cross between a chapstick and a lipstick; so they are not heavily pigmented. But they are quite nourishing, soothing, and moisturizing. They smell minty and fresh.
Both shades are pretty and wearable but my favorite is Rylea. Rylea is such a different color (sheer coppery) and something I have never used before.
However, with Rose lip tint I face couple of issues: 1) the formula crumbles every time I apply it on my lips and then I have to use my fingers to spread it evenly; 2) the packaging seems a little faulty (the reverse twist applicator doesn’t work; so I have to push the lip tint down with my finger before closing the cap).
The best part about the Olga’s lip tint is the cool, tingling sensation I feel immediately after applying them; and it stays for quite some time. The cooling effect comes from the addition of USDA Organic Peppermint oil in the formula.
Ingredients: Cocos butyric (Cocoa Butter)*, Butyrospemum Parkii (Shea Butter)*, Cocos Oleum (Coconut Oil)*, Cera Candelilla (Candelilla Wax), Micha (Mica),

ORGANIC CERTIFIED LOOSE FACE POWDER – LIGHT
Olga’s Organic Certified Loose Face Powder is the 1st USDA Organic Certified powder in the USA. It’s the best-selling product of this line. The loose powder is available in three shades – Translucent, Light, and Medium.
Like all Olga’s Organics products, the loose face powder is made of some really simple yet amazing ingredients like arrowroot flour, cacao, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and bentoite clay. Arrowroot Flour makes skin silkier and smoother by enabling it to absorb moisture. It’s also a rich source of Folates and Vitamins A and C. Cacao contains vitamins C and Magnesium that protect the skin and keep it hydrated. The anti-bacterial properties of Cinnamon enhance and fight skin dryness. Nutmeg, a natural astringent, provides relief with skin blemishes and acne. Ginger contains around 40 antioxidant compounds that protect against aging. And Bentonite Clay causes accelerated healing and nourishment to the skin.
My experience: I’m quite impressed with the formula of Olga’s loose face powder (the ingredients are so well selected). It’s very lightweight, fine in texture, and smells heavenly. The fragrance is so fresh, like subtle aroma of fresh flowers. It goes on smoothly with Olga’s vegan kabooki brush made of soft vegan fibers.
The best part about Olga’s loose face powder is that it absorbs all moisture from the skin without making it patchy or dry. In fact, it gives a beautiful matte look with a natural glow. For my oily skin, it works beautifully and going by its unique texture, I think it will suit even drier skin types.
The powder doesn’t hide any redness or imperfections but blurs it out evenly and makes it look so natural. Personally, I like a little more coverage to conceal the redness; but I simply love this powder so much that I still wear it every day. I like to

Honestly, I didn’t know much about Olga’s Organics brand and/or their products, until I tried them. But after trying and exploring their products, I’m nothing short of amazed. Olga’s Organics is one of the most humble natural makeup brands in my opinion. Not only do they care about the integrity of their brand and products; offering a healthy and a non-toxic beauty routine is at the heart of Olga’s Organics.
